Sang Gun Kim

Founder /  Director

As a creative director of The Collaboration Works with a background in bachelor and master's degree in motion graphic design. Sang Gun is interested in telling compelling stories to amuse audiences. Strong knowledge of technological tools of design has led him to create the company as a platform for developing narrative-driven projects that cross the arts-technology divide.

 

Previously worked as a lead of motion graphic team in UK projection mapping company for 6 years on many of the most impressive projection mapping projects internationally and within the UK, on some of the world’s most iconic buildings, such as; Buckingham Palace, Edinburgh Castle, Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Dartmouth College Hopkins Center for The Art in Boston, The Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, Tesla for Panasonic at ISE Amsterdam, Clifford's Tower in York, Durham Cathedral, Blackpool Tower, Glasgow City Chamber, Tegn Bahadur Memorial in India, The Shard and many more. 

 

Having designed, developed and managed over 40 3D projection show to date, including commercial projects, light festivals as well as national events, he joined the project which has been shortlisted multiple times at the AV Awards and received rAVe Best Demo and Guinness World Record.  

 

Sang Gun is regarded as one of the most knowledgeable and experienced technical directors for large scale projection in the industry. With his high attention to detail, as well as his unique and thorough technical approach, it ensures that projects he is involved with are always perfectly achieved.

 

The proven design skills with his knowledge of innovative technology, make him an important resource on complex digital projects.

Teemo E. 

Lead of VR team

After completing a degree in fine art and visual communication design, he worked over 13 years in developing a game on PS, Xbox, PC, Mobile with motion graphics, 11 years of experiences in Unreal Engine with 3 AAA shipped titles, multidisciplinary experience with 2D and 3D production pipelines and well versed in Python, MEL, C/C++, Actionscript and Max script. 

 

He worked as a senior technical artist for Rocksteady Studios in the UK and participated in making Arkham VR, which the contents received the best VR Game at E3 Game Critics Award 2016 and IGN Best of 2016, His previous experience includes MMORPG, Blade & Soul and developing environment VFX and simulation-based animation at NCsoft and participated in Soul Unreal Engine 4 Tech Demo at Epic Games.

 

He joined The Imagine Smith as a lead of VR team and is working on producing many VR contents using different VR platform.
